Happy Birthday Timm & Trevor
Yea, I know, he looks pretty rough, but at least we got a birthday smile out of him. It's not turning 42 that's making him look like that...we are still working to find out what that's about. He didn't feel really great on his birthday, but hopefully his day was still good. We sure love him and are grateful for the sacrifices he made this summer to help our family. We sure hope he feels better soon.
Trevor got an iTouch for his birthday and was laughing sooo hard at Taylor's reaction of disbelief. I think he was pretty tickled with his gift. He has spend A LOT of time on it.
Trevor is such an inquisitive kid. He is always asking how my day was or asking really random questions (we do a lot of google-ing). I am thinking he would be perfectly suited for a journalist. he knows all the right questions to ask and is skilled at researching (FYI Chef Boyardee's real last name is Boiardi - yep he looked that up.) He is a great little buddy, although I can tell he is getting teenage-ish as he is note quite as quick to be my constant companion as he used to be. He is an awesome kid.
Trevor loves the show Man vs. Food on the travel channel. It is about this guy, Adam Richmond, who travels the country and takes on a restaurant's specials and eating challenges (like the ole' 49er - the huge steak, etc.) He wanted a Man vs Food party. Although we only did the family thing this year, we decided to do a M v F pizza, which was really 5 pizzas shaped into one. He was pretty tickled with the out come. We ate pizza for a few days (even that much pizza doesn't last too long at our house.)

Trevor and Timm wanted German Chocolate cake, so I made a plain looking, but DELICIOUS German Chocolate cake. My good friend, Candi had asked Trevor if he got his own cake or if he had to share. Usually they each get their own, but I was pooped this week so they got to share. About 3 or so, cute Candi and Gabby show up with this adorable cupcake cake for Trevor. She said, "no one should have to share a cake on their birthday". It was very cute and tasty. Thanks Candi and Gabs!
