Halloween 2009

Check out my guys rocking  Halloween!  Tay/Jake dressed as Jackie Moon (from the movie Semi Pro) and Trevor and Tanner sported some cool masks that we grabbed at Walmart at 4pm on Halloween.  At least this year, I got a few more pictures of my guys on Halloween than last year.  They scored lots of candy and I ate lots of chocolate.  All the makings of a delightful evening!

Trevor again created a skillful art piece using a pumpkin medium for submission to the Anthem School Pumpkin Walk.  He is a 2 time prize winner.  In years past they have given out awards for several different categories (scariest, most original, most artistic, etc.)  But this year they used a different voting method.  They let people vote (it was supposed to be with pennies).  There were many very cool and cute pumpkins. When we were there with our handful of pennies, Trevor's jar had quite a bit in it, someone had even put in a dollar bill.  But as we went down the line, there were a couple of "class" pumpkins that had a wad of bills already.  Alas, Trev did not win.  I was actually a bit worried that he would melt down - he had become accustom to winning.  But he took it like a trooper and he is already thinking of ideas for next year.
