For the first time ever Jag's lacrosse team made the playoffs for the first time ever! With the
help of the Gino Savastano, the leading scorer in the State of AZ, the
Jags finished regular season play with the program's first winning
season. The Jags are seeded number 8, which means their first play-off
game is at home this Tuesday against the East Valley Scorpions. I was in Chicago and couldn't go. But they won that round 13-4. So
they went on to played #1 seeded Nortre Dame (the reigning state
champions). I flew in at 7 so I only made the 2nd half. When I got
there they were behind 7-4, but they came roaring back and ended up
losing a squeaker 11-10. The best season that the Jags have had.
