BC LAX Banquet 2012

May 9th was the BC Lacrosse banquet.  This year it was held at The Station, a restaurant, rather than the school.  There was a HUGE group there.  Very cool to see the program growing.  The group was so big, that they had to put us outside, which was a little concerning, given it had rained about an hour earlier.  But it ended up very nice, albeit SUPER long - nearly 3 hours.

They started with JV awards.  This is Tanner being called up for his certificate.  He got many cheers for Diesel.  They mentioned that he was key to the defense and a hard worker.

 Then, to his surprise but not the rest of us, he was awarded Defensive player of the year for the JV team.  Diesel Rocks!

 On to the Varsity.  Here is Jake getting his certificate and Letter.  Jake was also chosen as VP of the school lacrosse club for next year.

 

It was a good time.  Except for Trevor, who was stranded at Young mens because this went sooooo long!

 But not to worry.  He was survived.
