Just Kidding! That's Billy Madison (and if you're too young or too high-brow to know Billy Madison, this probably isn't the blog for you to be reading!) Today's even better than that. It's FAT CAT Banker Bonus day!!!! And baby, I am seeing giant penguins at every turn! :)
Actually today is the day where we learn if we are getting a bonus and /or a raise and if so how much. Not the actual day we get paid. Not to sound ungrateful, but it is a better day than the day Bonuses are paid. Again, not to sound ungrateful, but that day is often a little disappointing as you hear a number today, and when it is paid out, they have withheld taxes, etc., so it is significantly lower.
Today it is all about dreaming what we can do with my little slice of the pie! Actually that little slice has to be divided into many directions. But an extra boost is wonderful! However little the "left-over" is.
