Memorial Day Weekend 2011

We almost left town... but alas, we are far to big of homebodies to stray that far away.  So we had a super relaxing weekend staycation.
We chilled by the pool.

Trevor and Tanner actually dared to get in the pool, but the rest of us are big Wusses and soaked up the rays from the deck.

We saw Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - in 3D!  it was fun.  We ate a ton of candy and popcorn.  My kind of celebration! Everyone seemed excited on the way home.  They must have all had a good time too. 

We took naps and I actually read a book (yea, that doesn't happen - ever!)  Monday afternoon the Gregoires came and swam.  It was a super low key weekend.  Some might call it boring.  I say it was just what we needed!

 This was Trevor heading off to his last day of School on the Thurs. preceeding Memorial Day.  I thought it was a cute picture of my cool 7th grader to be.
