Nerd fun!

JPMC Night at the AZ Science Center - June 24, 2010
Because JPMC is a major sponsor of the AZ Science Center, we periodically have an employee appreciation night there. This is the first time that we have gone - it was kinda fun. We saw all of the exhibits - the pictures are of the "Forces of Nature" exhibit - the weather tunnel was our favorite. We also enjoyed the brain exhibits - we battled head to head with the "mental power". (you wore these head bands with metal conductors in them. They were hooked to a wire that hooked into a tube. Within the tube was a ping pong ball and supposedly through your power of thought you moved the ball. Never quited figured out how that worked, but it was cool to see. We ended the evening with the planetarium - Cosmic Coasters (which made me very motion sick) and then a cool astronomy presentation on the constellations. It was the Nerdiest night of fun we've had.
